On 28th January, we held our annual Presentation Evening during which we gave awards to the winners of our heat of the International Peace Poster Competition; thanked special organisations who had helped us with collecting pre-loved soft toys and we gave away a total of £3,475 including £500 to the Clacton School Uniform Bank; £525 to Marie Curie Cancer Support and £750 each to Clacton Lifeboats; Harwich Lifeboats and the Frinton and Walton Lifeboat.

We had a presentation about the Tendring Talking Times which is our local talking newspaper and a project our Club is heavily involved in and finally our District Governor, Lion Chris Speed, rounded the proceedings off with complimenting our Club for our close involvement with our  communities.
