Since 2019, our Club has been engaged in increasing the numbers of defibrillators in the Clacton environs.
Our first was on Clacton seafront at the junction of Pier Avenue and Marine Parade West fixed to the wall of Tom Peppers. It was inaugurated by the then local MP, Giles Watling.
The second defibrillator was provided in conjunction with Community Voluntary Services Tendring by the front door of their premises in Rosemary Road, Clacton. There are further defibrillators in the car park of the Kings Cliff Hotel in Holland on Sea; outside the Golden Fillet fish and chip shop in Frinton Road, Holland on Sea. More recently we have installed one outside the “Colin’s at the Lighthouse” fish and chip shop at 122 Holland Road, Clacton on Sea.
We currently have one further defibrillator in stock awaiting agreement on its siting.
