Each year, the President of our Club choses a charity that he or she particularly wishes to support, often in addition to the many charities we always support during his or her year of office.  This year – until 30th June 2027 – Lion President Jamie Bush has chosen as his charity, “The Stroke and Wellness Foundation”.

This Charity is based in Holland on Sea and is dedicated to supporting stroke survivors with their onward journey to improve their quality of life, confidence and self esteem.

They support clients, their carers and the entire family to come to terms with the rehabilitation process following a stroke.

Our Club has been involved with this charity for many years contributing to various projects during this time.  Recently their building has had a makeover street side and it include a Tree of Life promoting the numerous charities and organisations that have assisted them in recent years.
